The warrior spirit is the part in all of us that will fight to defend us and our loved ones. It can be awakened in all of us.
Surviving trauma can sometimes mean understanding that our actions during that trauma were natural responses. Healing begins by understanding and respecting ourselves as we are. Getting in touch with our warrior spirit can mean that we may feel safer in the world because we train with people we trust and learn to defend ourselves. Slowly, over time, we will begin to trust that we are capable of self defense and begin to feel safe in new situations.
